"My mission is to help others design, build and expand
excellent early learning environments."
- Eboni N. Walker, M.Ed.
Eboni N. Walker, M.Ed. has spent her career in service to providing high quality education for young children.
A former early childhood educator, Eboni has worked with children and families from a variety of backgrounds and understands the impact of relationships, place, and resiliency in the pursuit of equitable educational opportunity.

Over the past 18 years, Eboni has emerged in the field, cultivating a broad background in early childhood education, professional development, educational advocacy, policy and research services, and leadership development.
While her work in education has taken her across the country, Eboni is most proud of the work she has accomplished in her hometown of New Orleans, serving as the founding Executive Director of John W. Hoffman Early Learning Center, the city’s first charter school based diverse-by-design child care center, serving nearly 150 children ages six weeks to five years old.

Most recently, her role in early childhood has expanded through the Louisiana Early Leaders Academy, a professional development fellowship for early learning directors.
Eboni is eager to help individuals and organizations design, build, and strengthen high quality learning environments for young children.

“Eboni Walker has worked as a systems leader, educator, administrator, and consultant. I’m fortunate to have worked with her in several of those capacities, and value Eboni as a thought partner and trusted colleague. Eboni coordinated and led a team of coaches for the Louisiana Early Leaders Academy, which allowed me to see the fullness of her skills. From her thoughtful planning on coach engagement to her coordinated efforts to connect components of the program to a broader strategy, Eboni strengthened the Academy. Her professionalism, warmth, and intellect make her a welcome partner in any aspect of a project. Her knowledge, skills, and approach are such a great asset to our state.”

“I love working with Eboni! I initially hired Eboni to be a leadership coach in a year-long leadership institute my team and I designed and hosted. Within weeks of working with Eboni, it was clear to all of us that we needed to find a bigger role for Eboni in the project. Eboni is collaborative, innovative, and adds immense value to everything she works on and to everyone she works with. We are well into our second year of working together and I hope we are able to continue partnering for many years to come.
Eboni has transformed our program by infusing our work with a deep knowledge of context and a deep consideration for the needs and strengths of the people we serve. Her expertise in leadership, management, early childhood development and education, and education in general have strengthened the materials we develop and present.”
